Youth Involvement
The Garden Club of Alabama fosters collaboration with youth, educating them about horticulture, environmental issues, and other related topics, while promoting exploration, learning, and awareness. The organization encourages its adult clubs to create and support Youth Garden Clubs. Once registered as members of the Garden Club of Alabama, each Youth Club also becomes part of the National Garden Club. After registration, Youth Clubs can apply for awards. These clubs can be affiliated with schools, churches, neighborhoods, daycare centers, or established youth organizations such as Scouts or 4H.
