Youth Involvement

The Garden Club of Alabama promotes working with youth, teaching them about horticulture, environmental, and other related subjects, promoting learning, exploring and awareness.

The Garden Club of Alabama encourages the creation and sponsorship of Youth Garden Clubs by its adult clubs.  Each Youth Club once registered as member of the Garden Club of Alabama, becomes a member of the National Garden Club.  Once a club is registered the Youth Club can apply for awards.   Youth Garden Clubs can be affiliated with a school, church, neighborhood, day care centers or established youth organizations, i.e., Scouts, 4H, etc.
